The AMI diploma courses are designed to provide in-depth theoretical and practical training based on Maria Montessori’s conclusions about the human being.

The aim of these courses is to accompany each student in his/her own process of transformation which means the acquisition of knowledge, skills and attitudes involved in understanding and supporting child development.

These courses are for people who want to become certified Montessori educators for their chosen age level.

Age levels

AMI diploma courses are designed by age levels, offering specialised training to support children’s development at every key stage of their lives.

AMI Diploma Course

0 to 3 level

This course is designed to help students discover the mysteries of human development in the first 3 years of life: to identify the unique developmental needs of children, to prepare environments appropriate to each stage of the child, to build a secure attachment and to connect the child to the prepared environment.

At the end of the course, graduates receive the internationally AMI diploma. They are prepared to take the responsibility for their own children class and to guide parents on the way to approach their very young children.

The course facilitates the study of Montessori education and child development at this age and provides an interdisciplinary approach of living beings, human endeavours throughout the ages and their relationship to the universe.

During the course, the students learn to value the special strengths of children at this stage of development: imagination, rational mind, moral conscience and interest in social interaction.
